來到宮島，紅葉堂本店的炸紅葉饅頭絕對是必嘗的小吃之一!店內最大的亮點，可以直接看到紅葉饅頭的製作過程。機械化生產的流程快速又整齊，從麵糊倒入模具、加上內餡，到一顆顆金黃可愛的楓葉形狀蛋糕出爐，整個過程相當壯觀，吸引不少遊客駐足圍觀。現場人氣十足，邊看製作、邊品嘗剛出爐的紅葉饅頭，十分有趣。
