I received this souvenir from a coworker, and its cute, delicate appearance caught my eye right away! The cookies look like flowers in full bloom, decorated in the center with cream and dried strawberries. The soft pink colors and intricate design make them look just like works of art, and I couldn't help taking out my phone to snap a photo. Just looking at them put me in a good mood. They're so beautiful that I almost didn't want to eat them! A Japanese souvenir that's both lovely and thoughtful.

Omusubi Honnoriya Tokyo Main Store
A specialty shop dedicated to omusubi (onigiri), a beloved Japanese rice ball. One of its key commitments is using Koshihikari rice harvested in the Aizu region of Fukushima Prefecture, which is cooked fresh in-store. The secret to its deliciousness lies in allowing the freshly steamed rice to cool slightly before gently shaping it by hand, creating a light and fluffy texture. Even after cooling, the rice remains soft and tender, making these onigiri perfect for takeout or enjoying on the go.

New SEDES Tablet
The SEDES series of medications have been sold since 1939 as antipyretic analgesics that treat a variety of types of pain, including headaches.
This is a common combination pain reliever in Japan that can be used to relieve headaches, toothaches, fever, and other discomfort. Although the different ingredients each serve a purpose, I personally tend to choose Tylenol because it has a relatively simpler formula. Everyone’s health and needs are different, so it may be a good idea to consult a pharmacist before purchasing to learn about the ingredients, indications, and precautions.

Unagi Pie
“Unagi pie" (eel pie) is a staple of Shizuoka souvenirs. This confection is a unique elongated oval shaped pie resembling the historically famous eels of Lake Hamana.
When traveling to Shizuoka, you definitely can't miss the popular souvenir Unagi Pie! It's shaped like a long, slender eel, and the golden, crispy pastry has an appealing mix of sweet and savory flavors that makes it hard to stop eating. As someone who prefers savory foods, I really like it. It's not only popular with tourists—even locals often bring a few boxes when visiting relatives or friends or going on business calls. It's very popular〜
