Shiroyama Park (Kagoshima City)
Perched atop Shiroyama, a small hill rising some 107 meters in the heart of Kagoshima City, Shiroyama Park is a natural sanctuary offering stunning panoramic views of Kagoshima’s iconic Sakurajima volcano and Kinko Bay. Reach this spot with easy access by bus or on foot before heading up to the summit observation deck, complete with sweeping city views and a breathtaking nightscape after dark.
This is the most convenient place in Kagoshima City to enjoy the view. If you're lucky, you can even see Sakurajima smoking—such an incredible experience!

ROUSHOUKI
Founded in 1915. “Buta-manjyu” (Butaman) was born from the Tenshin Paozu (Tianjin Buns) of Tianjin, China that were made easier to be accepted by the Japanese. The first generation arrived in Japan from Zhejiang province, China and opened ROUSHOUKI which would be the first pork bun specialty restaurant in the country that remains popular to this day, with long lines forming out the door.
It's really impressive that a shop selling buns has lasted over a hundred years and through more than three generations.

Shinjuku Southern Terrace
This 350-meter-long boardwalk extends from the south exit of Shinjuku Station toward Yoyogi. Along the lush path you’ll find restaurants, cafés, and stores selling clothing and miscellaneous goods, so you can have a great time even just taking a stroll.
Walking along this avenue feels so relaxing. Sitting at a small café with a cup of coffee and watching the busy crowds go by is another kind of laid-back enjoyment.
