The plaza has adorable food trucks and is beautifully decorated with roses, making the whole area feel really elegant. Plus, the European-style buildings are gorgeous.

Lucky Pierrot Bay Area Main Store
Founded in 1987, this is the very first location of a popular hamburger chain that now operates 17 stores mainly in Hakodate. In addition to classic items like hamburg steaks, they offer more than ten unique original burgers, including one filled with jingisukan (grilled mutton), showcasing a truly creative lineup.
The burgers here have a really unique flavor—not the usual American style, but more of a Japanese twist. The "Chinese Chicken Burger" and "Lucky Egg Burger" are super famous. The outside is crispy, and the sauce is rich and tasty, making them really easy to eat.
Prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous. Lots of locals and tourists come here just for this. The only small downside is that everything is made to order, so you have to wait a bit, but it's totally worth it when your food comes out piping hot. -
Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport Fukuoka
A large-scale commercial complex that opened on April 25, 2022 on the site of a former fruit and vegetable market in Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City. It is the first "LaLaport" in Kyushu and boasts approximately 220 stores, many of which opened for the first time in Kyushu.
Perfect for spending the whole day—you can easily shop from lunch to dinner without any problem.

Vinuls - Ueno Station
This restaurant offers a stylish atmosphere that feels like an old, rustic spanish village. They offer a large, diverse a la carte menu with simple traditional-style spanish dishes, as well as chicken, pork, lamb and beef, cooked over a brick grill for exquisite chargrilled cuisine.
It was my first time trying Spanish food, and I actually really liked it.
