From Mt. Hiei, you can see Lake Biwa to the east and Kyoto to the west. The entire mountain is covered with temples, all collectively known as Enryakuji.

It’s nice and cool here in summer. You can play in the water, have a picnic, and every photo comes out looking great. The area is fairly clean and the vibe is really relaxing. Getting here is a bit inconvenient, but it’s definitely worth making the trip!

The chair lift hangs from the cable and slowly rises up, making you feel like you're flying through the air. It's a really fun experience.

This bridge was built without railings to prevent flood damage. When the water rises, the bridge just sinks under the river. It's a really unique design!
