Conveniently located just steps from JR Atami Station, Irori Chaya is a cozy izakaya where guests can enjoy the fresh seafood and mountain delicacies of Atami while relaxing around a traditional irori hearth and taking in views of the coastline.
Sitting by the warm irori, grilling and eating while chatting—such a great vibe. The fish dishes are super fresh, you can really taste the ocean in every bite. Even with simple seasoning, everything tastes amazing. Overall, it’s cozy, warm, and delicious. Perfect spot if you want to relax and enjoy some local seafood.

KITTE Hakata
Conveniently located with direct access to Hakata Station, KITTE Hakata is a large-scale commercial complex developed by Japan Post as part of its “KITTE” brand. Spanning B1 to 11 floors above ground, this larger-than life complex boasts approximately 30,800 square meters of retail space and a heaping catalog of impeccable dining and shopping.
Super convenient and fun to explore! It's right next to Hakata Station, so getting there is a breeze. Tons of places to eat and shop. The food court upstairs has so many options—ramen, desserts, izakayas, you name it. There are also some stylish little shops to browse. If you get tired from shopping, there are spots to sit and recharge. It's a great place to take a break and refuel during your trip!
