Visiting the lake on a winter morning, the mist rising from the water creates a dreamy, mysterious vibe. It really adds to the atmosphere.

Nakasu Yataigai (food stall street)
In the gourmet city Hakata, Nakasu Yataigai lets you experience specialized gourmet food - ramen, skewered food, Oden, etc. to go with sake and other drinks. Naka River runs through Kyushu’s busiest downtown, Nakasu. Bright neon lights sparkle on the water and it is quite a sight that all kinds of food stalls are lined along the river! Strolling along the river allows you to catch the energy of the city.
Sitting at a tiny stall, eating and chatting—the vibe is just awesome. I highly recommend coming when the weather’s nice so you can enjoy the riverside night view while you eat. It’s extra romantic.

“Fun on the Raft” in Naruto
The Uchinoumi seawaters are located in the northeast area of Naruto in Tokushima Prefecture. Hugged between Shimada and Oge Islands, the calm waters were once a popular locale for pearl farmers. Today, these rafting rigs can be used as a special place to enjoy fishing and BBQing above the sea.
I was a bit nervous at first, but the ocean view from the raft totally won me over. The water beneath is crystal clear, and it's so peaceful all around—just the sound of the sea breeze and the water. The whole experience is super chill. You can paddle slowly, or just lie down and relax—some people do that! It really feels like becoming one with nature and the sea. Perfect for anyone wanting to slow down and try something different!

Togoshi Ginza Shopping Street & TOGOSHIGINZA Information Center
Stretching approximately 1.3km east to west from Tokyu Ikegami Line's Togoshi Ginza Station, this shopping district boasts around 400 establishments ranging from fresh produce stores to cafes, bakeries, and bathhouses.
With over 400 little shops, there are tons of tasty snacks to try. Getting there is pretty convenient, too.
