Daisen Park isn't actually that big—you can walk around it in about 30 minutes. The Japanese garden here is beautiful, and it's even more stunning during the fall foliage season. Definitely worth a visit.

Sunpiazza Aquarium
This urban aquarium is adjacent to the large shopping center "Sunpiazza" and close to JR and subway stations. Although the facility is compact, the exhibits are spectacular, with 10,000 living creatures of about 200 species being kept in an ingeniously designed exhibition space.
Sunpiazza Aquarium is so much fun! They have daily fish acrobat shows, and on Sundays and holidays, you can even watch the feeding shows. You can also touch crabs and starfish in the touch pool. I really enjoyed it!

Zenrin-ji (Eikando)
Known as Eikando, this is the head temple of Jodo Sect’s Seizan-Zenrinji School. It was opened in 853 as a practice place of Shingon faith by Reverend Kukai’s disciple, Shinjo. After the 7th-generation Eikan entered the temple in 1072, it has been gradually turned into a place for Jodo chanting practice.
Eikando is my absolute favorite! The best time to see the autumn leaves is around late November. Honestly, if you haven't been to Eikando, it's like you haven't truly seen Kyoto's most beautiful fall foliage!

Funadama Shrine
The Funadama Shrine, which stands guard over "Tomoe Port" from the foot of Mount Hakodate, is said to be the oldest shrine in Hokkaido. The shrine enshrines the god of tidal currents and the god of the sea, and is said to be beneficial to maritime navigation and road traffic. Because of the shrine's significance as a place of safety on sea routes, it is also visited by students preparing for entrance examinations and job hunting who are deciding their life paths.
Funadama Shrine is a place I really like to visit. You can buy a human-shaped wish card, write your wish, and then place it in the sacred water to make your wish. It's a special experience!
