Lake Umeda
Lake Umeda is located in the upper reaches of the Kiryu River, with the Kiryu River Headwaters Forest as its water source. It is not only a place where you can experience the beauty of nature, but also a famous fishing spot among anglers. The main target fish are rainbow trout, brown trout, cherry salmon, landlocked salmon, black bass, and pond smelt.
The water at Lake Umeda is crystal clear, with lush trees along the shore and mountains all around. The scenery is beautiful—perfect for a stroll by the lake, enjoying the reflections and the views. There are walking paths, observation decks, and rest pavilions, so you can walk, picnic, or just relax and enjoy the peaceful lakeside atmosphere.

Ryujin Suspension Bridge
The Ryujinkyo Gorge is located in Okukuji Prefectural Nature Park, in Ibaraki prefecture. The “Ryujin Suspension Bridge” is laid atop the Ryujin dam that flows through the Ryujin River within the gorge. This bridge is 375m long, and is one of Japan’s longest pedestrian only suspension bridges.
Walking across this bridge is pretty fun. Some people shake it on purpose, which can be a bit scary, but it's definitely an interesting experience.

Lake Kasumigaura
Kasumigaura is a lake located in the southeast side of Ibaraki prefecture and the second largest lake following Lake Biwa in Japan. The lake’s area is 220 ㎢ accounting for 35% of Ibaraki prefecture.
If you love cycling, I highly recommend coming here for a ride and soaking in the beautiful scenery.
