You can try authentic Japanese dishes like udon, miso stew, tempura, and chicken wings. There are also lots of local food stalls that look absolutely delicious.

Oze National Park (Gunma Side)
Spanning Gunma, Fukushima, Niigata, and Tochigi prefectures, Oze National Park is one of Japan’s leading natural parks and home to the largest highland marsh in Honshu. Walk the boardwalk from Hatomachi Pass, the gateway on the Gunma side, and you’ll find the vast Ozegahara marshland at an elevation of Approx. 1,400 meters, along with sweeping views of Mt. Shibutsu and Mt. Hiuchigatake.
Beautiful! The whole area is surrounded by vast wetlands and mountains. In summer it’s full of lush greenery, and in fall it turns completely golden. It really feels like stepping into a postcard.
Walking along the wooden boardwalk is so pleasant, and the air feels incredibly clean. It’s a bit far and takes some walking to get in, but the peaceful atmosphere and natural beauty are so healing.
Highly recommended for anyone who loves nature or wants to get away from the noise of the city! -
Rusutsu Resort
This expansive, all-season resort-one of the largest in Hokkaido-features ski areas, golf courses, an amusement park, hotels, and more across its vast grounds.
Came here with my family and everyone had a blast! Adults went skiing while the kids enjoyed the amusement park. There’s something fun for everyone.

The food and drinks are solid, but the real highlight is the performance. World-class musicians often play here, and hearing them live is seriously impressive.
It’s on the expensive side, but it feels well worth it for the experience.
