It combines a tourist info center, souvenir shop, restaurant, and bus terminal, making it a really practical and welcoming spot for travelers.

Lake Shikotsu

Lake Shikotsu is absolutely beautiful! The water is so clear and calm, surrounded by mountains—super relaxing. Taking a boat ride or soaking in the hot springs here is fantastic. It's a great place to visit on your day off!

Wakkanai Youth Science Museum “Wakkarium”
Opened in 1974, this science museum in Wakkanai, Hokkaido, is part of a combined facility with the Noshappu Cold Current Aquarium and is affectionately known as "Wakkarium."
The most unique part is the marine life and science experiment area! It's both educational and fun, making it perfect for families. The interactive exhibits are really engaging. Definitely worth a visit!
