Even though it’s a tourist area, it’s not noisy at all and feels really comfortable. If you don’t feel like walking, you can take a horse-drawn carriage—it’s retro and super fun! 🐴

SAKURA MACHI Kumamoto
Opened in 2019, "SAKURA MACHI Kumamoto" is a large multi-complex facility featuring approximately 150 stores, including fashion, cosmetics, and restaurants. It also houses a major event venue, "Kumamoto-jo Hall," a 9-screen cinema complex, "TOHO Cinemas," "KOKO HOTEL Premier Kumamoto," as well as offices and condominiums.
The rooftop garden and park are not just great for taking photos—they're also a nice spot for kids to play and relax. It's worth setting aside some time to take a stroll up there.

Kushihiki Hachimangu Shrine
Kushihiki Hachimangu Shrine, located in Hachinohe City, Aomori Prefecture, is a historic Shinto shrine with over 800 years of history. On its Approx. 5.3-hectare grounds, centuries-old cedar trees stand in rows, and the area has long been loved as “Hachimanyama.” The grounds are filled with highlights. Starting with the main sanctuary, designated an Important Cultural Property of Japan, you can see many valuable buildings and decorative details.
There are quite a few old buildings preserved on the grounds, and the whole place feels quiet and serene. The moment you walk in, it’s calming.
You can also see the main hall, which feels like a national-treasure-level landmark—so much history.
Compared to the more bustling tourist spots, this place is much more peaceful. Great for a slow stroll and soaking in the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese shrine. -
Yokohama Landmark Tower 69th Floor Observation Deck "Sky Garden"
The Yokohama Landmark Tower, a symbol of Yokohama, is a 70-floor skyscraper standing 296m high. This complex is home to a shopping mall, restaurants, clinics, and more. Positioned on its 69th floor is the "Sky Garden," an observation deck offering 360-degree panoramic views.
Whether it's the cityscape during the day or the sparkling lights at night, it's just mesmerizing. I couldn't get enough of the view.
