This was my first time ever riding a hot air balloon! Even though it's a tethered ride, the whole experience was awesome. You go up about 20–30 meters and get a wide-open view of all of Niseko and Mt. Yotei. It feels super refreshing.

Kotobukiya Akihabara Store
Kotobukiya Akihabara Store is the flagship shop of the toy manufacturer Kotobukiya, known for producing and selling figures and plastic models. Conveniently located just a short walk from Akihabara Station-the heart of Japanese subculture-the entire five-story building serves as retail space, offering an impressive lineup of products.
There are lots of limited-edition items and things you can only find in Japan. If you're a collector, you can't miss this place.

Takashima Koyomi
Shinseikan Takashima Koyomi is more than just a yearly calendar-it is a publication that offers insights deeply connected to daily life in Japan, including fortunes, seasonal words, and other culturally significant information. Originally conceived by Takashima Shomyo, It has been published continuously for over 75 years since its first edition in 1950, following the guiding philosophy: “Bringing rhythm and richness to everyday life through calendars.”
This calendar book feels a bit like a feng shui guide and a calendar combined. Most people use it to check dates. It's different from the 'Tung Shing' in Hong Kong—has more of a Japanese vibe. But you can still look up things like wedding dates, store openings, or moving days.
