OAC Niseko Balloon
Niseko OAC offers various activity programs, including rafting on the Shiribetsu River and bungee trampoline wearing special rubber gear. The hot air balloon experience during the green season, a tethered balloon connected to the ground by ropes, is popular among families for its safety, allowing even children as young as one year old to participate.
This was my first time ever riding a hot air balloon! Even though it's a tethered ride, the whole experience was awesome. You go up about 20–30 meters and get a wide-open view of all of Niseko and Mt. Yotei. It feels super refreshing.

Takashima Koyomi
Shinseikan Takashima Koyomi is more than just a yearly calendar-it is a publication that offers insights deeply connected to daily life in Japan, including fortunes, seasonal words, and other culturally significant information. Originally conceived by Takashima Shomyo, It has been published continuously for over 75 years since its first edition in 1950, following the guiding philosophy: “Bringing rhythm and richness to everyday life through calendars.”
This calendar book feels a bit like a feng shui guide and a calendar combined. Most people use it to check dates. It's different from the 'Tung Shing' in Hong Kong—has more of a Japanese vibe. But you can still look up things like wedding dates, store openings, or moving days.
