Daisetsuzan Sounkyo Kurodake Ropeway
Located at the center of Hokkaido, Daisetsuzan, a mountain range of eight volcanos, is called the ‘’god’s playground.” One of them is Mt.Kurodake, rising 1,984m above sea level. A nature hike along alpine plants and Ezo chipmunks in spring and summer, gorgeous fall foliage in autumn, and ski or snowshoe hike in winter. Daisetsuzan is fun to visit throughout the year.
As soon as you go up, the temperature drops by a few degrees right away, so make sure you’ve got a warm enough jacket.
If the weather’s good, the view down over Sounkyo Gorge is seriously breathtaking. -

SENDAI-IZUMI PREMIUM OUTLETS
"SENDAI-IZUMI PREMIUM OUTLETS" was built in Izumi Park Town, which was created in the 1960s through an urban development project. Located in Izumi Park Town, full of lush greenery and nature, many people use it for everyday shopping. The facility is designed to resemble a town in the Northeastern United States, so it is interesting to stroll around simply.
The environment at this outlet is pretty comfortable, and it doesn’t feel too packed when you’re walking around.
It’s a bit out of the way, but it’s still worth making a special trip if you want to do some serious shopping. -
Sun Station Terrace Okayama
Step off with ease at the Okayama station ticket gates to find Sun Station Terrace Okayama, the go-to food and retail hub you can count on, no matter what the weather.
The place isn't that big—feels like a small mall mixed with an underground shopping street. But it's totally enough for everyday needs.
