When all the lanterns are lit up at night, the whole street turns into a golden sea of rice stalks. It's truly spectacular and really symbolizes Akita's agricultural culture.

HANA・BIYORI
HANA・BIYORI is the new-concept flower park and destination next to Yomiuriland amusement park, replete with serene spaces to consider a greener earth and our place on earth hugged by seasonal flowers and plants. Popular highlights to see include the HANA・BIYORI Pavilion, where you can marvel at Japan’s largest collection of over 300 hanging flower chandeliers and colorful floral walls, the vibrant Seasonal Flower Path, and the PIET OUDOLF GARDEN TOKYO, designed by a world-renowned garden designer.
The digital projection show is really creative and makes for a unique experience. It's definitely different from your typical botanical garden.

Bâton d'or
Glico, the brand known for Pocky and Pretz also launched a luxurious dessert sweet in 2012. It’s called Bâton d'or, meaning “golden stick” in French. Each rich, buttery pretzel stick is made with a dough that’s packed with refined butter and cooked to perfection, along with an aged, golden butter sugar blend.
Glico has so many different products! There are lots of varieties I often buy as souvenirs.

Lake Motosu round trip boat Moguran
The Motosu-ko sightseeing boat "Moguran" is a submarine-type sightseeing boat that cruises around Motosu-ko, the westernmost of the five lakes of Fuji. Although it has the appearance of a submarine, it does not actually dive, hence the name "Moguran".
The water is super clean and clear. Through the glass bottom of the boat, you can see trout and other underwater creatures. It's a totally different way to enjoy a boat ride on the lake.
