Oyster & Smoked BAR SANGO
Over in Hiroshima Station’s West Exit area (nicknamed “Ekinishi”) sits Oyster & Smoked BAR SANGO, an authentic oyster bar serving up local Hiroshima oysters and bites from across Japan in raw, grilled, fried, steamed plates and more.
The vibe here is super chill—perfect for drinks and dinner with friends!
The oysters are fresh and there are lots of ways to enjoy them. The smoked dishes are really unique, and everything goes great with cocktails.
The lighting is dim and cozy, which makes it a great spot for a hangout or a date. If you love seafood, you’ll definitely love this place! -
Head Temple Takao-san Yakuo-in
This temple was established in 744 by Gyoki, the highest ranked priest, on the orders of Emperor Shomu. It is located in the middle of Mt. Takao and the formal name is Takao-san Yakuo-in Yuki-ji. It is a head temple of Shingon Buddhism, and one of the three major temples in the Kanto area with Narita-san Shinsho-ji and Kawasaki Daishi Heiken-ji. Izuna Daigongen is the principal image who has been believed to appear as a form of Fudo Myoo, Tengu which has been believed to be an attendant for Fudo Myoo and lived in the mountain so many statues of Tengu are placed on the premise.
This place has a thousand years of history and is full of energy. After reaching the top, you can even see Mt. Fuji. If you're visiting Mt. Takao, you definitely shouldn't miss this spot.

Ooedo-Onsen Monogatari Minoh Kanko Hotel
Though it is only 40 minutes by train from Osaka City, this is a hot spring facility surrounded by rich nature. It stands on a hill overlooking the Osaka Plain and offers a beautiful night view.
The hotel's layout is really confusing. I ended up dragging my luggage around and taking a lot of unnecessary detours.
