1. Kirishima Hot Spring Village, Kirishima Hot Spring Market
Kirishima Hot Spring Village (Kirishima Onsenkyo) is the collective name for nine hot spring resorts in Kirishima City, Kagoshima Prefecture. There are numerous lodging facilities where you can enjoy hot springs, and some facilities let you use the hot springs without staying overnight. We recommend you take a hot spring bath to heal your body and mind after a long day of sightseeing. The commercial facility "Kirishima Hot Spring Market (Kirishima Onsen Ichiba)" is located in the center of Kirishima Hot Spring Village. The market is lined with restaurants and souvenir shops, as well as footbaths where you can enjoy a hot spring casually.

2. Kirishima Shinwa no Sato Park
This park is located in the Kirishima-Kinkowan National Park and is also known as "Kirishima Roadside Station." Admission and parking are free. In addition to restaurants and souvenir shops, there are various fun facilities such as miniature golf, an animal village with goats and rabbits, and a children's plaza with playground equipment. Another highlight of this park is the spectacular view from the observation plaza. On a clear day, you can see Kinko Bay (Kinkowan), Sakurajima Volcano, and Mount Kaimon (Kaimondake).

3. Takachiho Farm
Takachiho Farm (Takachiho Bokujo) is a tourist farm at the foot of the Kirishima mountain range (Kirishima Renzan). You can see and interact with various animals such as cows, horses, and sheep living freely in nature.
They also offer hands-on activities such as milking and horseback riding. Admission is free.

4. Kirishima Open-Air Museum
Located on a highland plateau at about 700 meters above sea level, this open-air museum is a harmonious combination of Kirishima's nature and modern art.
The exhibition features 23 works by famous Japanese and international artists, including Yayoi Kusama, one of Japan's most renowned artists. Take your time to enjoy the art in beautiful nature.
