As part of your preparations, head to "Flanders," a popular bakery in Chofu.
11:20–11:50 Stroll along the "Tama River Cycling Road" while eating bread.
After a 5-minute walk from "Flanders," you will reach the "Tama River Cycling Road," where Mugi and Kinu often walked.
Near the road, in the "Tamagawa Sakura Ryokuchi" park, you'll find a location tour panel as a landmark.
Enjoy your stroll while eating bread, just like in the main visual of the movie.
12:10–12:25 Take photos at "Chofu Station Plaza," pretending to be Mugi and Kinu.
After a 20-minute walk from the "Tama River Cycling Road," you'll arrive at "Chofu Station Plaza," where Mugi once picked up Kinu. Just a 2-minute walk from the plaza is the "Chofu Station North Exit Scramble Crossing," where Mugi and Kinu held hands while crossing the street. Be sure to take a commemorative photo here, fully immersed in the roles of Mugi and Kinu.
12:30–12:50 The final destination for the two who missed the last train: In front of Chofu PARCO.
After crossing the Chofu Station North Exit Scramble Crossing, you’ll find 'in front of Chofu PARCO,' the goal Mugi and Kinu had set on the night they missed the last train and walked a long distance.
The 'PARCO Book Center' on the 5th floor of Chofu PARCO was also used as a filming location.
12:55–13:05 Take a commemorative photo on the road from the Street View where Mugi appeared.
The location where Mugi appears in Street View at the beginning of the story is a road three minutes on foot from Chofu PARCO. Use the FamilyMart as a landmark to find it.
13:30–13:40 The memorable spot where Mugi and Kinu shared their first kiss: 'Otozaka Bridge Intersection.
From the North Exit of Chofu Station, take the Odakyu Bus bound for 'Mitaka Station' or 'Kichijoji Station,' and after about a 5-minute ride, get off at the 'Otozaka' bus stop.
Right nearby is 'Otozaka Bridge Intersection,' where Mugi and Kinu shared their first kiss.
There is a filming location tourism panel near the intersection at 'Otozaka Children's Park,' so use it as a landmark.
13:50–15:50 Lunch and a stroll at the popular tourist spot 'Jindaiji Temple.
The next spot, 'Jindaiji Temple,' is about a 10-minute walk away.
At 'Matsuba Chaya,' where Masaki Suda, who played Mugi, visited during filming for the drama "Don't Call It Mystery", try the menu featured in the show, and ask the manager, who appeared as an extra, for behind-the-scenes stories.
After enjoying your lunch, take a stroll around the temple grounds, which are filled with power spots and many sights to see.
16:10 The memorable road that Mugi and Kinu walked on: 'The road on the north side of Tsutsujigaoka Station.
From the bus stop near the 'Jindaiji Temple Tourist Information Center' at the entrance of Jindaiji Temple, take the Keio Bus bound for 'Tsutsujigaoka Station North Exit,' and after about 15 minutes, you'll arrive at 'Tsutsujigaoka Station.'
On the north side of the station is the road that Kinu and Mugi walked along, heading toward Chofu after missing the last train.
For dinner, head to the shopping street in Chofu.
After finishing your location tour, you’re likely to be hungry after walking such a long distance.
If you're looking for dinner near Tsutsujigaoka Station, head to 'Tsutsujigaoka Shopping Street' or 'Fujimi Street Shopping Street.'
