One of the first places designated as a park in Japan in 1873. Adjacent to Zojoji Temple and Shiba Toshogu Shrine, nearby Tokyo Tower can be viewed from anywhere in the park. The long history of this park can be felt in the remains of its ancient burial mound as well as its giant camphor, Japanese zelkova and ginkgo trees. In the spring, you can appreciate about 70 plum trees and over 200 cherry trees, while in the autumn, you can enjoy the fall foliage in the artificial valley "Maple Valley."
