Tsukayama Park
You can learn how people lived in the past at this park
An excavation uncovered settlements from the middle of the Jomon period (about 3,500-4,500 years ago) in this park.
You can go inside the pit dwellings reconstructed from historic ruins that show how people lived in the Jomon period.
The very unique chairs and trashcans placed in the park are made to imitate earthenware from the Jomon period.
In the park office, there are excavated artifacts and replicas on display, as well as models made by visualizing the Jomon period.
Also inside the office, there is a "greenery information center" where you can read books and get advice related to gardening. There are cherry blossom trees alongside the Kanda River next to the park, and many people come to view the cherry blossoms in the spring.
