Hyogojima Park

A valuable spot for relaxation amidst the modern Futako-Tamagawa area, offering a chance to experience nature throughout the seasons. The park's design utilizes the riverside environment of the Tama River, featuring a gourd-shaped artificial pond in its central zone.

As the weather warms up, many children flock to the park to enjoy the artificial stream created using pumped-up subterranean water from the Tama River. The water is shallow enough not to reach the ankles, and its flow is gentle, making it safe even for preschool children to play.

Surrounded by lush trees, the small, curvy hills are perfect for sitting on the grass to sunbathe and picnic. The sound of the nearby Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line trains adds a background rhythm to a leisurely and relaxing weekend.
