Kawasaki is a coastal industrial city right next to Tokyo and Yokohama.
At night a fantastic futuristic scene is created by the reflection of the factory lights on the water and the crimson flames of flare stacks rising from their chimneys.
A sightseeing tour going around these places is also popular.
There are bus and boat tours, such as riding a Yakatabune around the rivers of Kawasaki.
In addition, a local guide known as the Factory Night Scenery Navigator will join some of these tours to explain the attractions of Kawasaki’s industrial evening views. Meals are also available on some tours.
