Sano Premium Outlets

A massive outlet mall with American style architecture.

Last update :

With Mt. Mikamo in the background, Sano Premium Outlets is the largest outlet mall in the Kanto region. The spacious complex with a U.S. East Coast city motif features about 180 retailers, all offering outlet prices. The shopping choices include high-end fashion brands, popular Japanese and international clothing stores, sport and outdoor gear shops, shoes, home décor stores, and kid’s fashion brands.

The dining options are also countless here. American style meals and restaurants gives the mall a real American atmosphere. For instance, the Crazy Crepes sells crepes made of only eggs and milk without any water added, and a Hawaiian hamburger shop KUA`AINA is from North Shore town in Oahu Island. There are also restaurants unique to Tochigi Prefecture, such as the "Cheese Garden," which sells cheesecake taking advantage of the prefecture's large production of fresh milk.

You can enjoy shopping and sightseeing on the same day as the neighborhood area offers some unique visiting spots like the Ashikaga Flower Park with its 160-year-old giant wisteria trees and seasonal flowers, and Ashikaga School, the oldest school in Japan, now designated as a national historic site.
