Last update :

Established in 1923, this traditional bathhouse features two natural hot springs on its premises: a "black water" spring and a "golden water" spring, both utilized in luxurious free-flowing baths. It's popular for offering two types of natural hot springs at public bath prices.

The amber-colored black water spring, emerging from 200 meters deep, is known in Tokyo for its particularly fine quality and clear amber color. It's famous for its moisturizing and heat-retaining properties, earning it the reputation as a beauty-enhancing hot spring.

On the other hand, the golden water spring, which comes from 1,500 meters deep, is exceptionally rich in iodine content, making it effective for cuts and scrapes and recognized as a therapeutic spring. It is said that alternating baths between the two springs can enhance their benefits.

In addition to the open-air baths, there are also a sauna and a stone spa (women only), and a free rest area on the second floor, allowing for a relaxing time after bathing.
