The world flagship store is located along Namiki-dori Avenue in Ginza, an upscale shopping area in Tokyo. Here, visitors can experience MUJI's concept of proposing "sensible living" in all aspects of clothing, food, and housing from various angles.
For example, there are proposals from various angles even for "food" items. In addition to foods sold in general stores, there is a corner selling seasonal vegetables and fruits from all over Japan, including organic and pesticide-free vegetables and fruits, a bakery offering freshly baked bread, a juice stand, a blended tea factory, and other beverages. The corner is also well-stocked. On the basement floor, there is a restaurant where visitors can enjoy the delicious taste of "plain food”.
“Clothing" includes "ReMUJI," a sustainable initiative in which MUJI textile products collected that can still be worn are re-dyed and recycled in Japan and sold as new products, and "MUJI Labo," a laboratory for creating genderless and ageless clothing.
In addition to selling interior and lifestyle goods, the "Residence" section also includes the "MUJI HOTEL" hotel. The store, which occupies the first basement floor to a portion of the sixth floor, is overflowing with ideas and proposals filled with love for life.
