GLION MUSEUM
Classic cars lined up inside a red brick warehouse.
Located in Osaka Port, one of the leading international trading ports in western Japan, this museum utilizes warehouses from the port. The sturdy red brick warehouses, built nearly 100 years ago, hold significant value as modern cultural heritage, and the atmosphere of the surrounding 3,000 square meter area exudes the charm of a bygone era, reminiscent of the streetscapes of London or New York.
Inside the museum, classic cars from both Japanese and overseas manufacturers are displayed, with over 250 vehicles rotating periodically. Particularly fascinating are the iconic cars from the early 1900s to the 1950s, including the awe-inspiring Rolls-Royce Phantom II and the Cadillac 61, which appeared in the movie "The Godfather". Additionally, the elusive sports car, the Toyota 2000GT, of which only a few were produced in the 1960s and 1970s, is showcased in both manual and automatic transmission versions.
Please note that touching or photographing the exhibited vehicles, as well as posting photos on social media that violate certain regulations, is prohibited, so let's appreciate them while adhering to proper etiquette.
