This place is suitable for all ages, so it gets pretty crowded. There aren’t many places to sit, so your legs may need a little stamina hahaha. I mainly recommend the indoor zoo at Tempozan. The environment is well maintained, but the animals have changed a bit. In the past, besides small animals, there was also a pig, a capybara, a kangaroo, and an alpaca (only one of each), but now there are only small animals. There also used to be a discount on admission for seniors, but that’s gone now too.

Tempozan Marketplace
A large commercial facility in the Bay Area where you can enjoy shopping, gourmet food, and interaction with animals.
Located within the "Tempozan Harbor Village," where you can enjoy a full day of popular spots including one of the world's largest aquariums Kaiyukan and one of the largest Ferris wheels in Japan, this large commercial facility houses about 60 stores including fashion, miscellaneous goods, accessories shops, restaurants, and food courts.
One of the highlights is Naniwa Kuishinbo Yokocho, a nostalgic streetscape that recreates a working-class neighborhood in Osaka around 1965 (Showa 40). Bringing together long-established eateries and popular restaurants serving Osaka specialties such as okonomiyaki, this popular attraction captures the spirit of Osaka, a city famous for its love of food.
*Currently closed for renovations until late March 2027 (scheduled), except for some shops.
There are also plenty of entertainment options, including Tempozan Anipa, where visitors can feed rabbits and guinea pigs and interact with adorable dogs and cats, and LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Osaka, an indoor LEGO® playground packed with a wide variety of attractions.
