Joyful Minowa Shopping Street
An energetic shopping street loved by many as “Joyful Minowa”.
A tram running steadily through the town, standing parallel from its start to its end is the Minowa Ginza Shopping Street. Ever since its establishment in the Taisho period, this energetic area is loved by many as “Joyful Minowa”.
Spanning 400m in length, the street is filled on both sides with butchers, green groceries, bakeries, miso vendors, apparel, stationery shops, cafes, a popular Chinese restaurant and 90 different diverse shops. The deli, with its fragrant and hunger-inducing aroma sells Tempura at a reasonable price, making it perfect for a time of walk-eating.
