Ashikaga Flower Park, which spans approximately 100,000 square meters, offers visitors the chance to enjoy a variety of flowers throughout the seasons. The "Garden of Light Flowers" event, held from mid-October to mid-February, is a popular event celebrated for its scale and beauty, earning it a spot among the top three illumination events in Japan.
During the event, the entire park is adorned with over 5 million lights. This transforms the park into an enchanting world of "light flowers," creating a spectacle that rivals even the natural blooms of the seasons. Following the 2021 renovation of the "Flower Castle" and the "Light and Water Flowers" which featured floating live flowers, and the "Light Rose Garden" in 2022, the current year introduces a new spot that represents the four seasons of Japan through light installations. This space, enhanced by projection mapping, is truly a sight to behold.
There's also the "Miracle Great Wisteria," an illumination that recreates the park's iconic wisteria, as well as seasonal productions that change with events like Christmas and New Year's. Steal your heart for one of many moments in awe and splendor depending on when you visit.
