The TORAY PAN PACIFIC OPEN TENNIS—commonly known as TORAY PPO—is an international women’s tennis tournament held annually in Tokyo.
Not only can spectators watch matches featuring some of the world’s top players up close, but the entire venue is filled with gourmet food, special events, festivals, kitchen trucks, merchandise, and more, creating a full day of fun and excitement.

Fans can look forward to exclusive opportunities such as autograph sessions and Q&A events with players, a traditional shuttlecock game with players dressed in yukata (summer kimono), and an open draw ceremony to announce the match brackets.
There are also exciting challenge matches and interactive events like tennis clinics for local children, offering visitors a chance to participate directly in the tournament atmosphere.

First held in 1984, it was the first official international women’s tennis tournament held in Asia, and has now built a legacy spanning over 40 years.
This year marks the tournament’s 40th edition—a milestone year expected to bring even more thrilling matches than usual.
Since the inaugural event, the tournament has been sponsored by TORAY Industries, a global advanced materials manufacturer.

The tournament is part of the WTA 500 series—one of the categories in the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) Tour. Winners earn 500 ranking points, making it an important event for players aiming for the top of the world rankings.

Are matches held even on rainy days?

A

The center court is equipped with a retractable roof, so matches are held even in rainy weather. However, please note that if matches must be moved to indoor courts due to unavoidable circumstances, those matches will not be open to spectators.

Can I bring food into the venue?

Eating and drinking are permitted at your seat. Plastic bottles are allowed, but cans and glass containers are not permitted. Bento meals and drinks will also be available for purchase around the venue.

Is there a place to leave a baby stroller?

Yes. Baby strollers can be checked at the entrance.

Can I attend the tournament in a wheelchair?

A

Yes. Wheelchair seating is available. One accompanying person may sit next to the wheelchair user in a provided folding chair. Wheelchair users may purchase SS-category tickets (rows 1–4) at half price, while accompanying persons pay the full SS-category price. Wheelchair tickets will be available via eplus starting from the general ticket release date. On the day of the event, staff at the entrance will assist in guiding you to your seat.

Photography is permitted, but continuous shooting and flash photography are prohibited as they can disrupt matches, practices, and other spectators.

Can I take videos?

Filming players during matches or practice sessions is strictly prohibited. If video recording is discovered, staff may confiscate the device or storage media and delete the footage.

Can I re-enter the venue?

A

Re-entry is allowed as long as you retain the stub of your ticket. Please note that re-entry is not possible if you lose your ticket stub.
