Dobara Falls

Deep in the forest of Yuza Town, Yamagata Prefecture, this waterfall marks a spot where the underground water of Mt. Chokai quietly emerges from the mountainside. From a slope at an elevation of Approx. 230 meters, two streams of clear water split to the left and right and flow down gently, with Fudo-do Hall between them, creating a view that feels like a scene from mythology. The spring water never freezes throughout the year, and it is rich in minerals, pure, and crystal clear.
