With a drop of Approx. 10 m and a width of Approx. 20 m, this wide waterfall captivates visitors with its enveloping sound of water and its beautiful, transparent veil-like appearance.

It is said to have been formed by a massive volcanic eruption around 90,000 years ago, and the setting, where you can view it up close from the riverside, is truly remarkable. Beyond its graceful and mysterious charm, the soothing atmosphere filled with negative ions is sure to make you want to take a deep breath.

You can also go behind the waterfall, where you can enjoy views of the surrounding natural scenery through the falling water and try taking photos at a spot where a mysterious fallen cedar tree, shaped by natural forces, awaits.

When visiting, be sure to make an online reservation through the official website to help ease road congestion. Same-day reservations are also available, but on days when heavy crowds are expected, such as long holiday periods, entry is by complete reservation only with a visitor limit, so if you have a preferred date, it is best to book early.
