A stay-style resort on Taketomi Island, a remote island in Okinawa Prefecture. It was designed to blend in with the culture and scenery of Taketomi Island, where part of the island is designated as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings, and its guest rooms are villa-style. Guests can spend time in a setting unique to Taketomi Island, with Ryukyu red-tile roofs and white sand paths.

All 48 villas are standalone, allowing for a private stay. The resort has a restaurant, spa, and pool, and serves dishes made with Okinawan ingredients and seasonings unique to the island. Its breakfast, with four choices including tofu porridge and bouillabaisse, is also popular.

There are also plenty of activities where guests can experience the island’s traditional crafts and folk events, offering a glimpse into its everyday culture. One of the most popular is a stroll through the village in a private water buffalo cart. The surrounding area includes villages and beaches, and exploring the island at a relaxed pace on foot or by rental bicycle is also recommended.
