Hotel Sierra Resort Hakuba

A luxurious stay in Hakuba’s forest, where you can enjoy the pleasures of all four seasons across 30,000 tsubo.

Last update :

A highland resort surrounded by Hakuba’s magnificent natural scenery. Across an Approx. 30,000-tsubo property, lounges, terraces, and private hot springs are scattered throughout, allowing guests to enjoy seasonal views and stay in their own style. Seasonal activities are also plentiful, including an outdoor pool in summer, a fireplace in winter, and playing in the snow in the courtyard.

The bathing facilities feature the hotel’s own hot spring source, “Hakuba Mizubasho Onsen.” The large public bath is housed in an atmospheric building relocated from a traditional house dating back to the Edo period, and includes indoor baths as well as open-air baths made of cypress and rock. Private hot springs available only to guests include a Japanese-style bath and a Goemon bath, where you can relax and soak while looking out over Hakuba’s natural surroundings.

For meals, guests can choose between French and Chinese cuisine, both offering seasonal course menus featuring local ingredients from Shinshu Hakuba. The premium French course includes carefully crafted dishes such as its golden consommé simmered for three days. The Chinese restaurant is also known for its signature course, lavishly prepared with shark fin and seasonal fish.
