A new tourist attraction in Sakai City featuring a tethered helium balloon that rises using only the buoyancy of helium gas. From Approx. 100 meters above the ground, visitors can enjoy a sweeping panoramic view of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Mozu-Furuichi Kofun Group, as well as Sakai and the lush Daisen area.

From the pre-flight guidance to landing, the experience takes Approx. 30 minutes, with the flight itself lasting Approx. 10–13 minutes. This new style of sightseeing lets visitors “experience” the historic kofun burial mounds in a whole new way. You can clearly take in the full shape of the kofun, which is difficult to grasp from the ground, and feel their timeless romance and history.

Lifted only by the buoyancy of helium gas, the balloon rises silently and gently into the sky.
