Otsu Lakeside Nagisa Park

A park developed along Approx. 5 km of the western shore of Lake Biwa, from Shimanoseki to Seiran. The grounds are made up of six areas, including open plazas and walking paths, where visitors can enjoy abundant water and greenery.

One of the main pleasures in the park is the scenery around Lake Biwa. The lake with sightseeing boats, the mountains such as Hiei and Hira, and the rows of pine trees along the shore all create picture-perfect views. Along the Nagisa Promenade walking path, the flower beds bloom with seasonal flowers throughout the year, with moss phlox from spring to early summer being especially stunning.

For leisure activities, head to Sunshine Beach. This open sandy beach overlooking Omi Ohashi Bridge is a great place to freely enjoy activities such as SUP cruises and SUP yoga. An outdoor pool next to the beach also opens during the summer vacation season.
