Just Approx. 10 minutes on foot from Sakurajima Port Ferry Terminal, Sakurajima Nature Dinosaur Park overlooks Kinko Bay from a hillside location and offers sweeping views from its observation decks along with nature walks.

A grassy lawn spreads across the center of the park, and areas for enjoying nature walks, such as the Small Bird Forest and Sakura Forest, are also maintained. Another highlight is the changing scenery from season to season.

The park has observation decks, each offering panoramic views of Sakurajima’s rugged mountainside, the Taisho Lava Field, and Kinko Bay. The sunsets and night views are also beautiful, with different scenery to enjoy throughout the day. It is a spot worth visiting between stops on a Sakurajima sightseeing trip.
