Ouchiyama Zoo

This zoo is surrounded by lush nature in Taiki, Mie Prefecture. It houses a wide range of animals, from large predators such as lions and Tibetan brown bears to small animals. The warm, wood-themed grounds offer a relaxing place to stroll while observing the animals up close.

Visitors can feed hamadryas baboons, pygmy goats, sheep, ponies, emus, and other animals, making close encounters a major feature of the zoo.
