Housed in the station building at Koyashita Station, this is one of Japan’s few railway station hotels. The wooden station building, constructed in 1925, has been renovated into a comfortable place to stay while retaining the character of the historic structure.

There are only two guest rooms. The Koya Room is a spacious guest room created from the former station staff sleeping quarters, with a calm atmosphere and the original columns and fittings still intact. The Tenku Room is a compact guest room renovated from a former train crew waiting room. Both rooms are designed to let guests experience the history of the station building throughout their stay.

Seats from retired railway cars, luggage racks, train hand straps, railcar plates, and other items have been repurposed throughout the hotel, allowing guests to experience railway history up close. The platform lies just outside the windows, allowing guests to watch trains arrive and depart from inside their rooms. Station announcements and the sounds of passing trains add to the atmosphere of the journey, creating an extraordinary experience unique to a railway station hotel.

Since July 2026, guests have also been able to book a stay package that includes persimmon curry from Minamiyokote Shoten Co., Ltd., a food manufacturer in Kudoyama Town. Enjoy a memorable stay that combines the atmosphere of railway travel with flavors unique to Kudoyama.
