An annual event held at Takino Suzuran Hillside National Government Park that vividly colors Hokkaido’s short autumn. In the upper section of the Country Garden, Approx. 700,000 cosmos flowers bloom in full glory, and from mid to late September, when they reach their peak, the hills are blanketed in beautiful pink-and-white floral scenery.
In addition to classic varieties, visitors can also admire cosmos with distinctive colors and shapes throughout the park, enjoying a wide range of floral expressions as they stroll. During the event period, craft workshops, garden tours, and other programs featuring music and gourmet food are also held, offering visitors a chance to experience not only the flowers but also Takino’s unique autumn nature and culture.
