The Roppongi Hills observation deck is on the 52nd floor of Mori Tower and is a great place to enjoy views of Tokyo. Looking down from above, you can see landmarks such as Tokyo Tower and Tokyo Skytree, and on clear days, you may even be able to see Mount Fuji. General admission for adults is JPY 2,400, or JPY 2,200 when purchased online, so buying in advance is a better deal. The panoramic city views during the day and the city lights at night each have their own charm.

It was super crowded and noisy, so I couldn't really enjoy the night view.

I didn't know you had to buy an extra ticket to go up to the rooftop. Also, I wasn't too happy with the staff's attitude.

After checking out the Mori Art Museum, head up to the 52nd floor for the night view.

Located right in the city center, this is the best spot to enjoy Tokyo's night view. The rooftop is open with no obstructions, so you can take amazing photos.

Out of all the observation decks in Tokyo where you can see the night view, I personally think Roppongi has the most beautiful one. You get a full 360-degree view, and it's open until 1 a.m., so you can really enjoy Tokyo's nightlife.

The open-air observation deck at the very top has no barriers at all, so you don't have to worry about glass reflections when taking photos. The view is completely open—highly recommended!

This is a great spot to enjoy Tokyo's night view. If the weather's good, you definitely have to go up to the rooftop observation deck.
