The Kiyomizu Stage is such a unique structure. Not a single nail was used in its construction, which is really impressive craftsmanship. This technique actually came from China's Tang Dynasty.

The cherry blossoms are gorgeous, and every season has its own unique charm. This is a famous spot in Kyoto—highly recommended.

I happened to run into a group of Japanese students on a school trip. The whole Kiyomizuzaka area was packed with students. Every single one of them was super polite and well-behaved. You can really see how Japanese people learn to follow the rules from a young age.

There are all kinds of souvenirs at the top of Kiyomizu-zaka. Just being here makes you feel at ease.

Kiyomizu-dera is a pretty famous World Heritage site, and it's honestly really impressive.

The scenery here is beautiful all year round. It's a great spot to take photos and check in!

The maple leaves are at their most beautiful when they're falling. I recommend coming here in the fall.

Because Kyoto is a protected cultural heritage site, no building can be taller than Kiyomizu-dera. You can get a really clear view of the whole city from here.

The famous Kiyomizu Stage with its 139 pillars was under renovation, so I couldn't see the whole thing. What a shame...

I've been here many times with tour groups, but the visits are always too short. Next time, I want to plan a free day to really enjoy it! 😁
