All Reviews of Hisaya-odori Park

I made a special trip to Hisaya-odori Park this time mainly to see the limited-time event held in collaboration with Nagoya’s popular chick-shaped pudding dessert, Piyorin. There was a large Piyorin-shaped installation featuring a transparent dome design, and visitors could walk right inside to take pictures. Taiwan has similar events, but being able to go inside was still pretty unusual and interesting. Many people took the opportunity to enter and take commemorative photos, so it was hard to get a shot of the chick without anyone inside.
Besides the event itself, the area around Hisaya-odori Park is also quite lively, with many well-known shops and restaurant brands nearby. If you enjoy shopping or looking for unique stores, it might be worth checking in advance to see which places nearby are worth visiting. While walking around this time, I unexpectedly came across the main HARBS store in Nagoya Sakae, which immediately brought back memories of the food. I hesitated and wondered whether I should go in, but when I saw the line outside, I decided to leave it for next time.
Hisaya-odori Park is also conveniently connected to the underground shopping area. Heading downstairs takes you into the Central Park underground mall. I also stopped by a used camera store that a friend had recommended before. There were so many restaurants in the underground mall that I didn’t know what to eat. This area is just as commercially vibrant as Tokyo.

Located in central Nagoya, Hisaya-odori Park stretches south from the area around Nagoya TV Tower, forming a lush green corridor through the city. Shady trees line the route, along with wide, comfortable walkways that make it especially pleasant to stroll through. It's rare to find such a relaxing green space in the middle of a busy, bustling downtown area. Various events are held from time to time on holidays, adding plenty of energy and activity to the park. After taking a leisurely walk around the park that day, I went shopping at the nearby Mitsukoshi department store, then met up with friends I hadn't seen in a long time for dinner and had a wonderful evening.

I highly recommend setting aside some time to walk around Hisaya-odori Park! The park stretches through the city center, and the tree-lined streets, surrounding high-rises, and urban scenery make it especially pleasant to explore.

There are also department stores and boutiques nearby, including Matsuzakaya and Shin Kong Mitsukoshi, making it convenient for shopping, dining, and buying souvenirs. Popular attractions such as Oasis 21 and Chubu Electric Power MIRAI TOWER are also close by, so you can visit several of Nagoya's iconic landmarks in one trip.

During the day, you can take a leisurely stroll and go shopping. At night, the park has a completely different feel—the lights make it romantic and atmospheric. It's truly beautiful!

A major city needs a park that can breathe, and Hisaya-odori Park in Nagoya not only has trees but also green spaces. The fountain and TV tower also make you want to stop and take them in.

Hisaya-odori Park is peaceful and well-equipped. It's a great spot for families to relax, and the service is super friendly and thoughtful. Perfect for unwinding!

The park is huge! It feels really nice to walk around, and there are lots of trees providing shade. Super comfortable.
