The Maple Mania's Maple Butter Cookies were one of the souvenirs I brought back from this trip, and I absolutely loved them.
The cookies are crisp and crunchy, with rich maple butter sandwiched in the middle. When you take a bite, you first taste the buttery aroma, followed by the sweet maple flavor spreading through your mouth. The two flavors go together very smoothly. The sweetness is just right, too, so they don't become too rich after just a few bites.
The Maple Mania's Maple Butter Cookies have a subtle maple aroma when you bite into them. Combined with the rich buttery flavor, they have an extra layer of sweetness, and the crisp texture is also very appealing. However, they're a little too sweet for me, so they're best enjoyed with unsweetened tea or coffee. This helps balance the sweetness and brings out the maple aroma even more. The packaging is elegant and high-quality, making them a very presentable souvenir.
The packaging feels really premium, so it makes a great gift. The cookies themselves have a light caramel and buttery milk flavor, and overall they really feel like a perfect fall and winter dessert.
As soon as you open the package, you get a rich maple aroma. The crispy cookies are filled with cream, and they do run on the sweet side. Overall, it’s basically a maple version of Shiroi Koibito.
