Yakushi Ai Road Shopping Street
Baishoin Temple is known as the largest temple in Nakano Ward and is popularly known as 'Arai Yakushi'. The approach from Nakano Station to the temple gate has several shopping streets in front of the main gate, one of which is the Yakushi Ai Road shopping street.
It's definitely worth visiting Baishoin Temple on the 8th of every month!
Tokyu Kabukicho Tower
Within a month of its grand opening in April 2023, the complex welcomed over a million visitors, quickly establishing itself as the new icon of Kabukicho. The building boasts 48 floors above ground, 5 below, and stands tall at 225 meters. The exterior design, inspired by fountains, wraps this enormous entertainment hub crafted around the concept of "mastering one's passions."
Tokyu Kabukicho Tower has it all—hotel, food, and entertainment! The restaurants here are open 24 hours, and there are live music performances at night. If you want to experience Shinjuku's nightlife, you have to check this place out.
Nomiyama kannonji Temple
For ages, it has been affectionately referred to as "Nomiyama-san" and stands as an exceptional main temple of the Koyasan Shingon Sect. Accompanied by the Tenno-in sub-temple, it is the sixteenth stop on the Chikuzen Sasaguri Pilgrimage route. Recognized for its efficacy in realizing wishes and providing protection from misfortunes, the temple welcomes over a million visitors each year.
Nomiyama Kannonji is a special temple of the Koyasan Shingon sect. It's also famous for its beautiful autumn leaves.
Lake Okutama
Completed in 1957 (Showa 32), Lake Okutama is a man-made lake created by damming the upper reaches of the Tama River with the Ogouchi Dam. Its official name is "Ogouchi Reservoir".
Lake Okutama is located in Chichibu-Tama National Park. It's actually the Ogouchi Reservoir and is the most iconic spot in the Okutama area.
Oishi Park
Located on the shore of Lake Kawaguchi in the Oishi district of Yamanashi Prefecture, this scenic spot offers panoramic views of Mount Fuji across the lake. The park, with its photogenic landscapes, attracts many tourists.

Kitakyushu Manga Museum
The “Kitakyushu Manga Museum” opened in 2012 in Kitakyushu City, which has produced many famous manga artists, including Leiji Matsumoto, Seizo Watase, and Tsukasa Hojo. It is a facility that conveys the appeal of manga through exhibits based on the themes of "seeing, reading, and drawing”.

Minobusan Kuonji Temple
Kuonji is a historic temple standing atop Mount Minobu, a peak rising 1153 meters above sea level. Saint Nichiren, the founder of the Nichiren sect of Buddhism, is enshrined here.
Every year, many people come here to worship because they admire Saint Nichiren. It's a sacred place for followers of the Nichiren sect.
Tanihama Park
This park is loved by local residents as a place of relaxation. In addition to large playground equipment and a hill overlooking the Sea of Japan, the park also carries out initiatives themed around "the importance of coexisting with nature and the community, and the circulation of rich nature".

Oide Park
A scenic spot located about 15 minutes on foot from Hakuba Station. You can see the clear stream of the Himekawa River, a suspension bridge, and the towering mountains of Hakuba on the other side. If you want to enjoy this beautiful scenery, aim for the observation terrace and observatory within the park. Once the cherry blossoms are in full seasonal bloom, you won’t want to miss a chance to see them up close from the observation terrace.

A gravel beach in Itoigawa City, known as the production area of jade, a gemstone popular in the East. It’s said that if you’re lucky you can even find jade here that made its way from Kotakigawa Jade Gorge, a designated natural monument in Japan, after many many years.
