Zuisen Distillery
During the Ryukyu dynasty, Awamori making was only allowed in 3 districts named the “Shuri-Sanka” to preserve its tradition and quality. It was made under strong monitoring by the country. Zuisen Distillery is one of the 3 “Shuri-Sanka”. With a cellar located in Shurisakiyama-cho, this distillery has preserved its traditional taste since 1887.
This distillery is tucked away in a residential area. They offer free tours and tastings, so it's a nice place to stop by if you're in the area.
