Tosaden traffic (Streetcar)
A streetcar system affectionately known as “Tosaden,” running through Kōchi Prefecture. Since opening in 1904, it has operated three lines-the Ino Line, Gomen Line, and Sanbashi Line-forming one of Japan’s largest streetcar networks, with a total length of about 25.3 km and 76 stops.
You can just show the page on your phone. The one-day pass is very convenient.
Botchan Ressha Train
Botchan Ressha is a train replica designed after the steam locomotives that operated for 67 years after the opening of Iyotetsu (Iyo Railways) in 1888. The name, “Botchan” is named after a train used by the protagonist in Natsume Soseki’s novel of the same name. The title “Ressha” (meaning train) was added for an extra friendly flair.
You have to time it just right, otherwise you can only look at it and not ride it. Because of our schedule, we could only take the regular train.
Dogo Shotengai (Dogo Haikara Dori)
Nicknamed “Dogo Haikara Dori”, the Dogo Shotengai is a shopping arcade connected to Dogo Onsen Honkan. At 250-meters in length, this L-shaped shopping arcade connects the stretch from the main building of Dogo Onsen to Dogo Onsen Station, the final stop on the Iyotetsu train lines.
This L-shaped street, about 250 meters long, is wonderfully thoughtful, giving travelers shelter from the wind and rain.
On both sides, old wooden buildings blend beautifully with modern, stylish storefronts, and now and then the air is filled with the fresh aroma of grilled rice crackers and citrus.

Matsuyama Castle
Matsuyama Castle is an iconic symbol of Matsuyama City, and it is also famous as being an impregnable castle.
You can choose the ropeway, the single-person lift, or hike up to Matsuyama Castle if you want some exercise.
The view opens up instantly right in front of you and really makes you feel refreshed, with a sweeping panoramic scene. We even happened to catch the plum blossoms in bloom, which added a lovely touch of red.
Shibuya Scramble Intersection
This is a scramble intersection in front of Shibuya Station. Said to be the world’s busiest crosswalk, it has become a famous sight to see in Tokyo. From the pedestrian bridge connecting the JR Yamanote Line and the Keio Inokashira Line, you can view the flurry of people crossing the intersection from above.
At the busiest intersection, the moment the light turns green, crowds pour in from every direction—up to thousands of people moving in rhythm at the same time, weaving past each other almost miraculously without ever colliding.
This scene perfectly blends the city's peak energy, neon lights, giant screens, booming sound, and the collective motion of the crowd. It really feels like the best expression of Tokyo's streets in motion.
Tokyo Dome City
This is a huge leisure facility complex that is centered around Tokyo Dome, which is famous as a baseball stadium. An amusement park, restaurants, shops and a hotel surround the massive Tokyo Dome.
This really is an amazing place that smoothly brings together city entertainment, shopping, and relaxation.
Whether you’ve just finished an exciting baseball game or a great concert, or you simply want a spacious, comfortable place to walk around in the middle of the city, the whole complex is planned in a way that makes it super easy and enjoyable to explore.
TOKYO DOME HOTEL
Rising high above the urban entertainment hub of Tokyo Dome City-home to baseball games, martial arts events, pro wrestling, and concerts-the Tokyo Dome Hotel is a 43-story high-rise that stands as one of the premier skyscraper hotels in the city.
Located right next to Tokyo Dome, this is the top place to stay if you're attending an event there.
Byodoin Omotesando
This historic Omotesando (main approach) leads to the main gate of the World Heritage Site, Byodoin Temple. Located just a 10-minute walk from JR Uji Station and immediately across the Uji Bridge from Keihan Uji Station, it is easily accessible from both stations.

Marufuku Coffee Sennichimae Main Shop
Once the setting for novels and frequented by famous actors who colored the Showa era screens, Marufuku Coffee Sennichimae Main Shop was once synonymous with Osaka's coffee shop culture.
A nice quiet spot in the middle of the bustle, and the bread was delicious.
Yumekaze Plaza in front of Todaiji Temple Gate
This is a facility consisting of restaurants and retail stores in Nara Park known for its wild deer. It is located in front of Todaiji Temple, famous for the Great Buddha within a walking distance from World Heritage Sites such as Kasuga Taisha Shrine, Mt. Kasuga Primeval Forest, Kofukuji Temple, and Nara National Museum, making it the perfect place to stop by during sightseeing.
The pudding is really popular, and there’s a Great Buddha on top of the bottle cap.
