Lake Mashu

Situated in the eastern part of Hokkaido, u is a caldera lake located within the "Akan-Mashu National Park". Encompassing an area of about 19.6 km² with a circumference of roughly 20 km, the environs of the vast lake have been designated as a special protection area. Due to the steep cliffs surrounding it, direct access to the lake is restricted. However, several observation decks set up around the lake offer panoramic views of its serene surface.

Nusamai Bridge

Nusamai Bridge is about 124.0 m long crossing the mouth of the Kushiro river at central Kushiro city. The bridge connects Kita Odori and Omachi in Kushiro city. The place is widely known as one of the world's three best sunsets and the scenery is spectacular when the whole sky is dyed in the sunset.

Kita no Yatai

With a history spanning over two decades, Kita no Yatai played a key role in sparking a nationwide food stall boom. Located just a five-minute walk from Obihiro Station, this unique space, surrounded by buildings, is home to 20 gourmet food stalls where you can fully savor the rich flavors of Tokachi and Obihiro.

Ningle Terrace

Located just a 2-minute walk from the "Shin Furano Prince Hotel" in Furano City, Hokkaido, this shopping area is nestled among the trees. "Ningle" refers to the 15cm tall "forest wisdom keepers" who live in the forests of Hokkaido, as featured in playwright So Kuramoto's play "Ningle."
