While in Fukuoka, besides enjoying the food and visiting the sights, I also made time to check out Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport Fukuoka!

The entire shopping center is very spacious, with a huge variety of stores offering everything from clothing and household goods to restaurants and food, making it very comfortable to browse. The most eye-catching attraction is the enormous RX-93ff ν Gundam inside. Seeing it in person for the first time was truly impressive, and you definitely shouldn't miss taking a photo!

Standing on the bridge and watching the Uji River flow slowly by, with the mountains and riverbank scenery on both sides, feels really pleasant. Compared with the bustling streets of central Kyoto, this area has a more leisurely and peaceful atmosphere. Strolling slowly across the bridge with the river breeze blowing, I felt completely relaxed.

Uji Bridge is also an important route to Byodoin Temple and Uji Shrine. After crossing the bridge, you can browse matcha shops and old streets along the way, which really gives you a taste of Uji.

The entire street is filled with Uji character, with lots of matcha desserts, tea shops, and unique souvenirs on both sides. Even the air seems to carry a faint aroma of tea. As you browse the street, it's really easy to be tempted by all the different matcha treats. I wanted to try everything, from matcha ice cream to matcha desserts!

When visiting Uji, besides Byodoin Temple, Uji Shrine is also well worth stopping by. The shrine is tucked away among the greenery, and the atmosphere is quieter than at the bustling tourist attractions. As soon as you enter the grounds, you naturally slow down.

The most distinctive feature is the shrine's deep connection with rabbits. You can see many rabbit motifs around the grounds, and even the amulets and ema plaques are very cute.

What I was looking forward to most in Nara was Nara Park! As soon as I entered the park, I saw so many deer wandering around. Some were leisurely grazing, while others walked right up to visitors to ask for deer crackers. They weren't afraid of people at all.

Feeding the deer up close for the first time was both exciting and nerve-racking. As soon as I held out the deer crackers, I was surrounded. The deer also kept nodding their heads as if to say, “Give me another one!”

As I was getting ready to leave after visiting Todaiji Temple, I came across Yumekaze Plaza right in front of the gate. There are quite a few souvenir shops, restaurants, and stores featuring Nara specialties, so it's a nice place to stroll around and browse!

After spending the whole morning visiting attractions, I couldn't resist buying some of the many Nara specialties. The deer-shaped items were especially cute—they really are the perfect symbol of a trip to Nara! There are also plenty of nearby places where you can sit down, take a break, and grab something to eat.

The museum houses a large collection of Japanese Buddhist art and precious cultural artifacts, including Buddhist statues, paintings, and various historical objects. Walking into the exhibition halls feels like traveling back to ancient Japan. The solemn Buddhist statues are especially more powerful in person than in photos, and they give you a deeper sense of Japan’s rich history and culture.

Meishoku Bigansui is a classic product found in Japanese drugstores. Its retro bottle is instantly recognizable, and many people pick up a bottle to take home when they visit Japan. After using it, I found that applying it to a cotton pad and gently wiping my face after washing felt very refreshing, without being too heavy or sticky.

My skin felt clean and refreshed afterward. Following it with a lotion or cream made the overall experience quite comfortable.
